Update – At approximately 3:50 p.m, the hold and secure was lifted at Alpine Public School by Waterloo Regional Police Service.

Please be advised that a hold and secure has been issued by the Waterloo Regional Police Service for Alpine Public School while the police deal with a situation at Block Line and Strasburg Road. Students will not be released from the school until the police department have lifted the hold and secure.

All students and staff are safe. We will update this web post, Twitter and Facebook as more details become available.
