A few items of note:
- MacMillan orders were due today. Please send all remaining orders into the office tomorrow. Thanks to all families and staff members who are supporting our school by participating in this fundraiser. Together, we can make a great difference!
- Parents are asked to make sure to call the 24 hour attendance line 519-743-4338 ext. 3020# whenever a student will be late or absent. Calls should be made before 9:00 a.m. The safe-arrival program helps us to keep all of our students safe and we rely on all parents to be our partners.
- Whenever possible, please avoid making appointments for students during school hours. Late arrivals and early departures cut into the instructional day and interfere with student learning and achievement.
- Parents of kindergarten students are kindly asked to help us encourage independence by saying goodbye outside or at the office (if signing in late). At this point in the year our youngest students can confidently handle walking down the hall by themselves. If you are concerned we are happy to escort students as an interim measure.
- Pizza orders for January 19 to March 9 will go live before the holidays and will be open for the first week back to school in January.
- Milk orders for all of January to March break will also be done via SchoolDay and will also be due January 13, 2017. Milk orders will no longer be accepted at the main office in the New Year. The next opportunity to order milk or pizza will not be until early March.
- School Council meets tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. in the library. All are welcome.
