First Day of School for Grades 1 – 6 students: Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014.
Returning SK Students: Wednesday, September 3rd, 2014 (Full attendance will continue following this day.)
New SK or JK Students—Orientation Day: Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014
Parents and students of new SK or JK students are invited to participate in an Orientation Day. A letter was sent home in August indicating the time of day.
New SK or JK Students—First Day: Students will be divided into two groups; one group will attend a full day of school on Wednesday, September 3rd and the second group on Thursday, September 4th. A letter was sent home in August indicating which day your child will attend.
All new SK and JK students will attend school on Friday, September 5th.
First Day of School Procedures (Grades 1-6): Students in Grades 1 to 6 will go directly to the gymnasium at 9:10 AM on the first day of school. The teachers will greet their students at that time and proceed to the classroom.
We ask that parents say their good-byes before the children enter the gymnasium. Students in Mrs. Calvert’s Grade5/6 class should go directly to teh portable classroom next to the parking lot.
Who will my teacher be in September? Class lists will be posted on Thursday, August 29th, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the front foyer. The lists will be taken down over the Labour Day week-end, but will be reposted before 8:30 am Tuesday, September 2nd.
Meet the Teacher: Our annual Meet the Teacher Night will be held on Thursday, September 11th, 2014 starting at 6:00 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to see your child’s classroom and meet the teacher(s). Mark this date on your calendar!
