A Snapshot of EQAO Results Over A Two Year Period

As you can see, we have made double-digit gains in four out of six areas, thanks to the hard work of our students and staff. We note that we have stagnated somewhat in grade 3 and 6 Reading, and have a lot of work still to do in Mathematics for both grades. As a result, this year our School Identified SEF Indicator is:
Students are explicitly taught and regularly use self-assessment skills to monitor, improve and communicate their learning within the context of the Ontario curriculum and/or Individual Education Plan (IEP).
Our School Iprovement Plan will be focused on the following learning goals:
- Utilize Assessment for Learning to further students’ understanding of mathematical concepts – Grades 4 to 6
- Utilize Assessment for Learning to further students’ reading comprehension – Kindergarten to Grade 3
