Dear Parents and Guardians,

Many of you may be aware that there was a significant police activity in the Kingswood Drive area over a period of several hours today.

In collaboration with Waterloo Region Police Services, schools in the area went into a Hold and Secure in an effort to ensure student safety.  This meant that our doors were kept locked and our students kept indoors during this time.  Please be advised that these were precautionary measures only and at no time were students in imminent danger.

At 2:35 PM today, we received information from Waterloo Region Police Services that the situation had been resolved and the hold and secure status was removed for the remainder of the day.

Dismissal will take place as usual at 3:30 PM.
