April 15th, 2016

Today we had a great kick off assembly to celebrate Earth Week.  Some of the events we will take part in include:

April 18 – Bee trivia contest

April 19 – Author visit Frank Glew “Melissa’s Magnificent Message”

April 20 – Earth Day family picnic at 11:10am.  We hope to see all parents at our picnic!

April 20 – Spring Walk to School Day

April 21 – Earth Hour 12pm-1pm

Classes will take part in a school-wide, school yard clean-up during Earth Week.

We will begin out boomerang lunch initiative during Earth Week as well.

We are looking forward to bringing awareness to environmental issues that affect us all.
